Who I am
I love technology. Cryptocurrency most of all, and the cryptography, privacy and economics that come with it. I am not a cryptographer, not a genius developer, not some hacker in the dark. I am a nerd. I liked computers from early on, and philosophy and logic too. With mathematics I liked the ideas and never enjoyed actually solving anything, so I did not. I love zero-knowledge proofs, and I have not yet found a place for them in anything I build.
The name
It was the first thing that came to mind when I needed a GitHub handle, nobody else had taken it, the domain happened to be available, and I have used it ever since. That domain is the site you are looking at.
Why there are so many of these
My GitHub has a lot of things on it that I made because they suddenly occurred to me. I drift off, something catches, I write it in a notebook, and if it will not get badly in the way of what I am already doing — or if I want to badly enough — I build it. Usually the interest goes once the prototype and the skeleton are standing, and I move on. NMTS is the first one I have carried deep and long without losing interest. So NMTS is the main project and the rest are toy projects.
Why there are no ads and nothing to pay for
Not because I am kind. There are three reasons. First, I hate carrying legal risk, and an ad network and a payment processor each drag it in. Second, it costs little to run. If it had cost a lot I would have found a way to make it cost less, or not built it, rather than charge for it. Third, and this is the one that matters: until thousands of people are using it, taking no money leaves me better off than taking money. I get hurt less legally, and I do not want to hand my identity to an ad network for a few cents. It is not that I dislike money. With more of it I would have put up a dedicated server and spent a fortune on AI. I just do not think I would live the supercar life. A life where I do not have to work, where I can think and then build what I thought, is the luxurious life to me. Money is how you get there.
Where this goes
I am Korean. I was born in Korea and I live in Korea. Going to the United States has been what I wanted since I was small, and since high school it has been the first thing I mean to achieve in my life. It still is. Emigrating to Texas is my largest goal. If I get there I will almost certainly change my legal name to Need More Truth, start a company called NeedMoreTruth, and move what I have been doing in Korea under it. However it goes and however many years it takes, I am going.

Feedback over money. If you found a bug, tell me, however small, and even if you are not sure it is a bug. Where a button sits and how a screen looks are bugs too. If something is missing or you do not like how it works, say so. If you just want to say something, pick any subject, or none. I am not asking for expert feedback. I need what it looks like to someone actually using it. I love technology but I am not good at having excellent ideas, and I cannot find the odd parts of my own work.
