Your palette
NMT mode is the optional jewel-toned look for this site. Here you can give it a personal palette: a ten-character code becomes a complete colour scheme, and the same code always produces the same colours. Pick one you like and save it.
You can explore palettes here whether or not NMT mode is switched on. A saved palette only takes effect on the rest of the site while NMT mode is on — the 'NMT' control in the header turns it on and off.

Build your palette
——————————The default palette is in use.
Ten characters, A–Z and 0–9. Any code works and always gives the same palette.
How it works
- Choose a code — generate one from your guest ID, roll a random one, or type your own.
- Watch the live preview, and switch between the light and dark variants.
- Press Save this colour. With NMT mode on, your palette dresses the whole site.
About your guest ID
The Use my guest ID button derives a code from your current connection only at the moment you press it — opening this page never does so. The code is built by hashing your address with a key that is replaced every day, so it changes daily and cannot be traced back to your address. If you save a palette, only the resulting code is stored, in a cookie on your device — never your address. See the Privacy Policy for details.
